A Feel for Fall

If you are anything like me your next shopping excursion is constantly on your mind. With the fall season approaching my spree is on countdown. It looks like a mixture of girly grunge, shades of grey, and a boyfriend look that is a bit preppier than last fall should be on your menu.

Make a unique statement piece with this DIY clock!

My base is a petite table top from a flea market. If you need to paint your base choose your color or design. Then stencil the numbers and use a Clock Kit such as this to finish your new favorite art piece.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients

1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1/4 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup unsweetened apple juice concentrate, thawed

Directions

Combine peanut butter, milk powder, and coconut in a large mixing bowl.
Stir in oats, ground cinnamon, wheat germ, and apple juice concentrate until thoroughly combined.
Shape the mixture into 16 one-inch balls.
Chill thoroughly before serving, about an hour. Store remaining balls in the refrigerator.

Each ball is about 80 calories! ENJOY

Who Doesn't Love J.Crew?

If you don't love J.Crew, I'm not sure if I could ever love you. How effortlessly cool is this model's hair!? Seriously, my favorite. Not to mention the great outfit.

Love these hippie chic (overused phrase)picks from Zara's Casual May 2010 Lookbook. Now available in stores but I won't be "having it all" because unfortunately they do not have an online store. BUT, coming September 2nd we will all be able to empty our checking accounts by snatching up great finds for the fall. Later this week look for alternatives this style that are available now. XO
